For the Queen's Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977, the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club amassed over three thousand of the most amazing Rolls-Royces from all over the world at Ascot Racecourse. The Queen inspected this fantastic array of cars and awarded two of the prestigious trophies ever awarded to motor cars. One of these, for the world's best restored Rolls-Royce, went to "The Lady in Red".
Since the Queen so honoured this car in 1977, it has covered a mere ten thousand miles.
